Non-ad
valorem assessments are categorized as:
Maintenance (recurring every year) or
Capital (imposed over a pre-set number of years).
Capital
Assessments may or may not be subject to additional interest charges. Property
owners
are
able to pay-off Capital Assessments at any time to avoid additional interest
charges, when
applicable. Capital assessments are assumable by a new
owner at time of sale. Whether to
pay-off
or assume a Capital assessment is entirely up to the discretion of the property
owner
and/or
negotiation between the seller and the buyer at time of sale of a
parcel/property.

and mailed to:

than Water & Sewer, you must contact the Tax Collector
at
