Notice to building permit applicants: Please be advised that development activities within the boundaries of the Charlotte Harbor Community Redevelopment Area (CRA) are subject to design standards and other criteria unique to the Charlotte Harbor community. To determine if the property you are seeking to develop or re-develop is within the Charlotte Harbor CRA or to view the CRA guidelines, please contact Building Construction Services. Building Construction Services information counter is open from 9:00 AM to 4:45 PM on Monday or 7:30 AM to 4:45 PM  Tuesdays through Fridays.

 Starting work prior to issuance of a Permit will result in
a penalty up to four times the Permit Fee

The calculations for Permit Fee are approximate and additional fees may be assessed depending upon the work being done. You will be notified by email if any additional fees are due.

A permit becomes VOID if construction is not started within six months, and received an approved inspection. An approved inspection extends this permit for an additional six months.
